Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of talk therapy that is considered the "gold standard" of treatment for anxiety, depression, and obsessive compulsive disorder.
Based on the theory that how we think effects how we feel and behave, CBT helps people to engage in meta-cognition, a.k.a thinking about our thinking, in order to help us assess our thoughts for thinking errors that may be contributing to emotional concerns.
